TARGETED ACADEMIC SUPPORT
The Inclusive E-Sports Clinic, organized by the Inclusive Services Centre in collaboration with PPDK DAMAi and Pahang Viral, successfully attracted 13 trainees with disabilities, including 6 from PPDK DAMAi UMPSA and 7 from PPDK ANIS Kuantan. The programme aimed to expose participants to the potential of the e-sports industry as a platform for skill development, career opportunities, and digital inclusivity. During the sessions, participants were introduced to e-sports concepts, career pathways in the industry, and had the opportunity to take part in e-sports game demonstrations at the Inclusive Technology & Ecosystem Hub, Level 4, UMPSA Pekan Library.
Inclusive 2025 refers to a comprehensive initiative and vision aimed at promoting accessibility, equality, and full participation for all students, particularly persons with disabilities, within higher education institutions. The initiative aligns with national policies on inclusive education, digital accessibility, and social equity, and sets concrete goals to be achieved by the year 2025. Inclusive 2025 is therefore more than just an access programme; it is a holistic framework aimed at ensuring that all students, regardless of ability, have equitable access to education, technology, resources, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. It embodies the values of Malaysia MADANI, emphasizing compassion, inclusivity, and excellence.
