TREE PLANTING DURING EMERGING LEADEARS’ DIALOGUES ASIA (ELDA 2016) DELEGATES VISIT
Emerging Leaders’ Dialogues Asia (ELDA) s being organized in Malaysia between 20th Oct to 1st Nov 2016, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, Princess Anne. Launched by the Commonwealth Study Conference Association of Malaysia (COSCAM) and Association of Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue (AELD), the objective of this flagship initiative is to help identify, encourage and build leadership competencies. Themed, “Creating Globally Connected Leaders’, ELDA 2016 involving participation of high-potential leaders from both emerging and development economies, as well as engaging them in meaningful discussion on challenges, system and solution.
At the heart of ELDA 2016 all the delegates involved in study tour to regions within Malaysia and one of the destination are University Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Pekan Campus. As a symbolic of their visit to UMP, all the delegates has planted 12 trees from 3 different species (Mela Indica, Pterocarpus Indicus & Casia Fistula).
