UMP Color Run Fun

More than 1,200 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) undergraduates took part in UMP Colour Run which involved them running around the campus and getting spattered by colourful powders of green, blue and yellow hues.  The run was held during UMP's Expoconvo held at its Gambang campus on October 20, 2015.

  The event was organised in conjunction with UMP's 10th Convocation, held on October 17 and 18, 2015. It was full of fun and very colourful.  The event was supported by the Department of Student Affairs and Alumni, Vice-Chancellor's Office, Security Unit and Student Health Centre.  The run was flagged off by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Professor Dato' Dr. Rosli Mohd. Yunus.  Also present were Advisor of Expoconvo 2015 Zahiruddin Mohd Zin and Director of UMP Expoconvo 15, Poh Yi Fei.  The programme's theme, 'Spice UpThe Place' (Ceriakan Hidup Setempat) aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among the undergraduates and for them to exercise more and be healthy.  It also aimed at fostering closer ties and cooperation among them as well as with members of the public.
