UMPSA is committed to conserving biodiversity through the preservation of flora, fauna, and genetic resources for food and agriculture.
Through research and conservation project, UMPSA strives to protect ecosystems and ensure that these genetic resources can be used to enhance food security and sustainable agricultural practices.
The university is implementing greening initiatives in developing the campus landscape to be greener and more sustainable to ensure that its residents can enjoy a more conducive and quality environment.
UMPSA has 13 conservation projects to date as display at below table.
The conservation projects include Rimba Lestari, Kanopi Hutan, Goose Park, Fruit Orchard, Extinct Fruit Arboretum, Bio aromatic Arboretum, Wetland, Tasik B, Laman Cendekia, Kelapa Mataq, Mulching, Napier.
