Total Electricity usage last 12 months (year 2022) is 24,469,662 kWh. The usage of this year increases compare to the last year (2023). It is mainly because in UMPSA Pekan there were still an under developing campus, right now there were only 55% of our campus are build up bulding, as for this year there were a new project been completed such a Sewerage Treatment Plant, STP for 15,000 PPE as before this can cater for only 5,000 PPE so that there were 300% increment for energy needs. There was also new hostel for 600 students completed at the same year.
But, there is a lot of initiatives been taken to reduce the energy consumption inside the campus, such as awareness, energy efficiency programmed & renewable energy initiatives. Hance it also taken account and been audited by our local authority.
