Zero Waste Culture

 Zero Waste Culture

As part of its commitment to reducing single-use plastics on campus, UMPSA has distributed free reusable food containers to students and staff. This effort is designed to support the university’s Sustainability Initiative Campaign, particularly in line with the “Plastic-Free Day” program at campus cafeterias.

Main Objectives

  1. Reduce reliance on disposable packaging such as polystyrene and plastic bags.
  2. Adopt sustainable daily habits, especially when purchasing food and drinks at university cafeterias.
  3. Support long-term behavioural change, reinforcing the culture of waste reduction.
