WASRA
WASRA is a clean water supply system that is specially designed by UMP for use in rural areas. Its distinctiveness for being able to supply clean water within a short time and user-friendly made it attractive to many parties. This product can provide great returns and is beneficial to the locals, education sector, contractors and the authorities.
Investment into an area depends on the local population, consumption and topography. The product's durability in the long run depends on the usage and maintenance of the system. A market study also showed that WASRA has huge commercial potentials in the country as well as at the international level.
In 2009, the system was used to supply clean water for undergraduates living in hostels. In 2011, a water filter system was installed at UMP Mosque, supplying clean water for ablution and watering plants in the nursery.
