CO2 Emissions Reduction Initiatives
Renewable energy program is one of the CO2 emissions reduction initiatives by reducing the dependency on conventional fossil fuel energy sources. Every year UMPSA increase effort and investment to reducing dependency on energy base on biofuel resources and produce more renewable sources and energy.

The carbon reduction goal is also supported by energy-efficient initiatives conducted in year 2023. By reducing energy consumption, directly reducing the CO2 emission contribution. Energy-saving lights / LEDs have been installed widely in UMPSA Pekan, Hostels, Offices, Street lights, and compound lights have been replaced with energy-saving bulbs or lanterns.
