ACCESS TO HEALTH-CARE SERVICES AND HEALTH EDUCATION

University Health Centre (PKU), which provides comprehensive health and medical services to the university community, including students, staff, and other campus members. Each campus has one university health centre.
Pekan Campus: The university health centre operates during working hours and offers services including medical consultations, vaccinations, and health screenings. It also organizes health awareness programs and workshops for students and staff.
Gambang Campus: A similar university health centre facility is available to ensure continuity of care for students and staff located at Gambang. Services include dental care, general medical treatment, and access to health education resources, with programs tailored to the campus population.
In addition to physical care, the university health centre actively provide health information and education through programs such as health awareness campaigns, workshops on healthy lifestyles, mental health counseling sessions, and online health resources. These initiatives are designed to promote preventive care, support overall well-being, and enhance the capacity of students and staff to maintain a healthy campus environment.

In addition to on-campus health services and activities, UMPSA also provides students and staff with health information and educational resources that can be accessed remotely. The University Health Centres (PKU) regularly disseminate updates, guidelines, and health awareness materials through the official UMPSA website, as well as social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram. These channels provide timely information on preventive care, healthy lifestyle tips, mental health awareness, dental care guidance, and COVID-19 or other public health updates, making it easier for the campus community to stay informed and adopt healthier practices, even remotely.
