STUDENT SOCIETY ON SUSTAINABILITY

Econexus Club is a student-led sustainability organisation at UMPSA that actively engages students in environmental conservation, climate awareness, and sustainable development initiatives. The club serves as a platform for students to translate sustainability knowledge into practical action through hands-on projects, community engagement, and environmental advocacy.

Econexus Club organises and participates in a range of sustainability-focused activities, including environmental conservation programmes, tree and mangrove planting, waste management awareness campaigns, and community-based environmental initiatives. These activities are designed to enhance environmental stewardship among students while supporting UMPSA’s commitment to sustainable campus development and alignment with the SDGs.

In addition, Econexus Club collaborates with various university departments and external organisations to expand the impact of its initiatives. Through these partnerships, the club provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, gain practical experience, and contribute meaningfully to sustainability efforts at both campus and community levels.
