Strategic Collaboration Between UMP And Agrico For Agricultural Development Qatar In Agricultural Product Development
Kuala Lumpur, 20 January 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has ratified strategic cooperative ties with Agrico for Agricultural Development, Qatar (Agrico) which is a supplier for agricultural systems and greenhouse-grown produce in Doha, Qatar. UMP will work together with Agrico in research, product development, commercialisation, and expertise exchange for use in agriculture which will be utilised in Agrico’s greenhouses in Doha, Qatar.
UMP strategic collaboration with 4 industries benefits graduate employability
PEKAN, 24 September 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) strategic collaboration with four industry partners, namely Kiarafics Sdn. Bhd. (Kiarafics), LBB Teams (M) Sdn. Bhd. (LBB Teams), Project Management Institute Malaysia Chapter (PMIMY) and Singularity Aerotech Asia Sdn. Bhd. (SAT Asia) will bring advantage for bilateral university-industry relations.
This collaboration could also increase graduate employability in meeting the workforce’s needs in the local and global industries. As a technical university in Malaysia, UMP is always exploring opportunities for collaboration in sharing the expertise of lecturers and researchers who can contribute to society, industry and national development in line with the UMP25 Strategic Plan.
UMP and Vacuumschmelze (VAC) signed MoU on sharing of technology and talent development
PEKAN, 8 November 2021 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Vacuumschmelze (VAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that combined innovative strengths and capabilities of a well-established university with a German-based advanced magnetic solutions company in Malaysia.
This latest university-industry collaboration would strengthen public trust towards UMP and its quality as a higher education institution. The MoU would pave the way for more collaborations on sharing knowledge in engineering and technology and scientific expertise and enhance the marketability and competency of graduates from the university.
UMP expands international collaboration network with German Konstanz University of Applied Sciences
PAYA BESAR, 15 December 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG-Konstanz) Germany in expanding the network of international collaboration and further strengthening the relationship between the two universities.
The online ceremony saw Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, who performs the functions of the Vice-Chancellor of UMP, signed the MoU while HTWG-Konstanz was represented by its President, Professor Dr. Sabine Rein.
UMP collaboration with YIM utilises STIE Design Space for Bera community
BERA, 15 October 2022 - Malaysia Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob inaugurated Keluarga Malaysia STIE Design Space in Felda Bukit Puchong, Bera which is a digital innovation corner equipped with computer laboratories, digital studios, drone exhibition and design corners to cultivate creativity and innovation among rural communities, especially school students and the new generation.
The programme was organised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) through Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM). To date, there are seven Keluarga Malaysia STIE Design Spaces in Malaysia, namely in Paroi, Negeri Sembilan; Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu; Kota Tinggi and Layang-Layang, Johor; Tumpat, Kelantan; Langkawi, Kedah; and now in Bera, Pahang.
