Rainwater Harvesting Systems

As part of UMPSA’s commitment to sustainable campus development, in 2024 rainwater harvesting systems continuously incorporated into selected buildings. This system helps reduce dependency on treated water from the main supply. UMPSA’s rainwater harvesting initiative demonstrates a sustainable and practical approach to minimizing treated water consumption while ensuring environmental stewardship and operational efficiency. The project is recognized as one of the institutional best practices to increase the efficiency of water resource utilization, reduced dependency on municipal treated water and promotion of sustainable infrastructure development.
