CENTRALIZED SEWERAGE TREATMENT PLANT (STP)

UMPSA (Pekan Kampus) now undergoing and almost completed the construction of 15,000 PE Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) that commence in October 2023. The STPs treat wastewater from hostels, academic blocks, administrative buildings, cafeterias, and residential areas. 

UMPSA’s collaboration with IWK exemplifies a national best practice in campus wastewater management, combining regulatory compliance, technological reliability, and educational integration. Through continuous monitoring and sustainability-driven initiatives, UMPSA demonstrates its commitment to protecting water quality and promoting environmental stewardship across all its campuses.
