Woman Graduation Rate
UMPSA systematically tracks and analyses women’s graduation rates as part of its commitment to gender equality and inclusive education. The university measures and monitors the likelihood of women graduating compared to men, enabling the identification of any disparities in academic progression or completion.
This tracking mechanism allows UMPSA to evaluate the effectiveness of support programmes, such as the Women’s Mentoring Schemes and other student development initiatives. Where gaps are identified, targeted interventions—including academic advising, mentoring, and student engagement programmes—are implemented to close the gender gap in graduation outcomes.
Through this evidence-based approach, UMPSA ensures that all students, regardless of gender, have equitable opportunities to succeed and complete their studies, reinforcing the university’s broader mission of promoting access, empowerment, and excellence in higher education.
